Take a spin with Galaxy S6's 3D camera mode (and more)
2015-03-03
the Samsung Galaxy s6 and s6 edge have
some pretty neat new camera features
inside I'm Jessica's altura CNET here at
Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona
and I'm gonna take you on a little tour
when we open up the camera we've got a
bunch of settings to the left and to the
right and it in modes we have something
totally new called pro this gives you
the option to adjust things like filters
white balance macro and other scene
shots your ISO and even to set a custom
mode and save all of your settings that
you want we've seen selected focus in
panorama before and slow motion and fast
motion are broken out what we haven't
seen is virtual shot this creates an
animated jiff of an object so it takes a
lot of pictures around it but not the
top and the bottom to get started you
press and hold the camera button and
then you rotate imagine that you're
outdoors and in addition to taking in
panorama you might also use this there
are also a couple neat tricks in editing
for example collage I haven't seen that
before you can actually create a collage
out of multiple images and set the
borders change the layout and do some
really cool things the photo editor also
gets a little bit of a new look and feel
with different menus that you can use to
crop and otherwise adjust your pictures
if you take pictures of people there's
also a portrait mode that lets you
adjust it's kind of funny if you're into
airbrushing yourself you can slim down
your face increase the size of your eyes
brighten your skin tone and of course
fix redeye
that concludes this tour of the Samsung
Galaxy s6 and s6 edges camera features
