whether you're traveling three time
zones or 13 beat the exhaustion
grumpiness and even depression of jetlag
with the help of Technology researchers
at the University of Michigan have
developed a free app for iPhone users
that aims to help your body better
adjust to time differences before and
after your trip the app is called in
train and it works on the principle of
adjusting your body circadian rhythms
with light and the time of day to get
started you need to enter some
information about your patterns while at
home and then details about your
upcoming trip like location how long
you'll be there and anticipated exposure
to different types of light for example
is this a business trip we will be
indoors most of the time or hiking trip
with lots of natural light exposure once
the app has the pertinent data it
crunches the numbers to give you a
schedule for when to spend time in
bright light and when to submerge
yourself into darkness in San Francisco
