2012-04-29
the new iPhone app called cloud photo lets you save your photos to the you guessed it to the cloud here's how it works after downloading the 99-cent app you'll be able to connect your camera roll library to Dropbox you can create new Dropbox folders by tapping the button in the lower left corner to snap a picture at the camera icon button at the bottom of the app the folder where the photo will be saved is also listed in the lower left corner keep in mind that pics uploaded to dropbox won't show up on your camera roll the app say is a large thumbnail of your image that reportedly only takes up 140th of the space as an original photo you can easily move and copy photos and entire folders making it easy to transfer photos from Dropbox to your iPhone and vice versa keeping your memory in the clouds couldn't be simpler in San Francisco I'm Kara Tsuboi cnet.com for CBS News
