it's called vanta black it is a synthetic coating made using carbon nanotubes okay this is seen here hold on seen here Oh looks great seam here right easiest it's pitch-black no here here's an actual photo of the van to black and it absorbs all but point zero three five percent of light okay so that is but it's basically like a black hole yeah and it's made with carbon nanotubes which I don't know what that means and it absorbed like I said absorbs all but point zero three percent of visible light it's grown on a sheet of aluminum foil the coating grabs ahold of the light and refuses to let go so high i don't get it i think it has something to do with like it just refuses to reflect light I just don't understand how they make a new material carbon nano yeah what does that even mean carbon nanotubes like I thought everything in the world already existed I think I mean there's so many jokes you could make like finally something lining up with my soul or like the first comment there on this is on this gizmodo piece the blackest thing in existence ha these people have clearly never seen my ex's heart womp womp womp
