now it feels a little weird to call
something that weighs nine point six
pounds of portable gaming machines but
here we are I'm never a Latina and today
we're checking out the soos Republic of
gamers g7 5-2 gaming laptop now you can
get this machine in a wide weight of
configuration but we'll look at the top
end at the top you'll find an Intel Core
i7 skylake processor with up to 64 gigs
of DDR for round grasses come care of
the geforce gtx 980m
and get up to 512 gigs of solid-state
drive storage and a one terabyte 7200
RPM storage drive and now the rest of
the specs are just a who's who of the
latest and greatest stack
there's a blu-ray burner 802 11 AC Wi-Fi
you'll find USB type-c and Thunderbolt 3
and there's also mini DisplayPort and
HDMI port in case you want to get this
pumping out to a 4k display you're also
going to want to stay pretty close to an
outlet as you can expect about 4 hours
of battery life out of this thing
of course top-end performance is going
to cost you all these high-end specs I
just rattled off that's gonna run you
about $3,500 so if this suits the public
of gamers g7 5 2 is got you interested
you can pre-order it starting today and
we'll ship around October 26
it starts at $14.99 but it could
obviously get much much better than that
I'm a Ralph you should have read my full
thoughts on CNET thanks for watching
