hey guys is eric franklin from cnet I'm
in San Francisco and today I'm taking
the first look at dell's new line of XPS
laptops Dell says is XPS 13 is the
thinnest lightest ultrabook ever built
and with a 0.7 inch thickness I wouldn't
soon argue that point the device runs on
Intel's new Haswell processor with an
intel HD 4400 GPU this year's XPS 13
houses a 1920 x 1200 resolution screen
with a wide viewing angle there are two
full USB ports and a mini DisplayPort
the body is made from reinforced carbon
and aluminum and the bezels are
noticeably small the high-end version of
the XPS 15 goes big with an incredibly
sharp 3200 x 1800 resolution stretched
across 15.6 inches of screen and at 0.7
inches still manages to be impressively
thin it features three USB 3.0 a full SD
slot hdmi mini displayport and a single
USB 2.0 port the palmrest is large with
plenty of room for your hands and a wide
key array you'll have your choice of
going with an integrated intel graphics
option or going with a discrete NVIDIA
GeForce 750 m look for more on both the
XPS 13 and 15 soon i'm eric franklin and
this has been a first look at the dell
XPS 13
and 15
