2015-10-27
I'm dan Graziano here with Motorola's new phone the droid turret oh alright the droid turbo 2 is actually shatterproof so you can drop the screen and it won't break this is the latest device from Verizon and motorola in the iconic droid lineup it's equipped with a 5.4 inch quad HD display it has a 2 gigahertz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor 3 gigabytes of RAM it has 32 gigabytes or 64 gigabytes of storage and will last up to 48 hours on a single charge and if you're in a rush you can charge it for 15 minutes and get up to 13 hours of battery life which is pretty good there's also a micro SD card slot at the top so you can add in up to 2 terabytes of extra storage which is a nice feature on the back you of a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash a rapid focus and zero shutter lag while on the front you'll find a 5 megapixel shooter with flash and a wide angle lens for those extra selfies the phone is running android 5.1.1 lollipop so it's not the latest version of marshmallow but they said an update is coming in the future this is awesome the first Droid that's customizable on Motorola's Moto maker website so you can pick a different back you can pick from wood from nylon to a soft touch it's very similar to the Moto X pure which we saw earlier this year if you buy the 64 gigabyte model on Moto maker there's actually a feature called design refresh which lets you refresh the design of the phone once in a two-year period which is something we've never seen before and it's a really unique touch the droid turbo 2 will be coming exclusively to Verizon on October 29th the 32 gigabyte model will cost you $26 a month over 24 months while the 64 gigabyte model will cost you $30 a month I'm Dan Grazia prasena and that was a first look at the droid turbo 2
