The Razer Blade: A gaming laptop with a colorful personality

razor makes some very slick looking
gaming laptops and even a very cool
non-gaming model called the stealth but
this is it's 14-inch flagship the razor
blade which combines above-average
gaming performance with a body that
looks and feels a lot like a macbook pro
if a MacBook Pro is made of matte black
aluminum and had a twisty glowy snaky
logo on its back this new version is a
little thinner than last year's and it
starts at two thousand dollars which is
a few hundred dollars less than before
compared to a standard 15-inch gaming
laptop it's positively tiny you get the
same Nvidia 970 n for gaming but you get
a new 6th gen Intel Core i7 like the
Razer Blade stealth we looked at a few
months ago you get the same crazy
multicolored keyboard which lets you run
through millions of color combinations
that can breathe wave ripple or be
configured in any number of crazy setups
the display is close to 4k it's a 3200
by 1800 and it's a touchscreen although
for the most part for games you'll
probably dial it down to 1920 by 1080
the coolest part is something we don't
have just yet it's the USBC thunderbolt
port which can connect to the upcoming
Razer core that is a breadbox size
accessory that fits a desktop graphics
card and that should allow you to use
this or the smaller stuff model for
high-end vr gaming
