the shape craft sunflower is a solar-powered patio umbrella that literally follows the Sun around so you can shade your eyes it is one of the craziest pieces of tech I've seen so far and it just is one of the smartest IOT smart home integrations I've seen in a really long time especially for outdoors so it is a patio umbrella it also has built-in USB it has speakers and it's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled it also has upcoming smart home integration so it's a prototype right now but they have plans to integrate with the Nest Learning Thermostat with Amazon Alexa potentially with Google home with apple's homekit Siri base so you can use voice control to say hey open up the shade rotate the shade it's also solar-powered so you don't actually have to plug it in to power it and let it do its thing it's basically this crazy autonomous robot arm that just does your bidding for you it moves around so that you don't even have to think about shading yourself from the Sun
