and there I'm Josh Coleman with CNET and
this is a quick look at the sony vaio
fit 14 the fit is a new laptop line for
Sony which combines good looks with
solid components for everyday use at
reasonable prices the 14 we tested comes
in at less than 650 dollars and has a
14-inch
1600 by 900 resolution capacitive touch
screen a large backlit keyboard and a
big multi-touch touchpad inside you'll
get a Core i5 processor eight gigs of
memory integrated graphics and a 750 gig
hybrid hard drive that although it
doesn't give you all the performance of
a solid-state drive does pick up
performance some like when booting up in
general it's a good mix of components
for everyday use not power users and the
same goes for battery life which tops
out a little more than four hours for
its price we're still not complaining
though especially since it's still thin
at less than an inch relatively light at
about 5 pounds and even has an optical
drive all in all it's an excellent
laptop for the money I'm Josh Goldman
and that's a look at the sony vaio
