think of the ZTE axon is a sort of entry-level alternative to the GTE axon pro it's got a slightly lower resolution display and slower processor but it'll cost less to admit we've seen it and today we're taking a look at the latest entry level model in cts axon line up the hardware in the ZTE axon is pretty much identical to the ZTE axon pro you're getting the same strong solid build the same hi-fi audio playback through the headphone jack thanks to the pair of dedicated audio chips and getting the same cameras too there's an eight megapixel camera on the front and a pair of cameras on the rear now these pair work together to capture the full depth of field in your image so you can shift focus on the fly later on and the cameras offer 4k video recording here's what's do the axon runs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 has a 1080p display as opposed to quad HD and only has two gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage but the price dropped 23 29 from 399 for the XM pro or 449 if you're getting the axon pro with 64 gigs of storage and that's the ZTE axon you're losing some of the processing power that you've seen the axon probe but you're paying less and you're still getting the same great fit and finish be sure to check out the rest of my coverage over on cnet com I'm Nate thanks for watching
