metal is the name of the game for HTC
with the launch of the 1x9 this 5.5 inch
Android phone wears an attractive
brushed metal jacket that is very
similar to HTC's One a9 unlike the a9
however the x9 comes equipped with HTC's
front firing boom sound speakers found
above and below the display these should
help pump out a decent volume for your
podcasts in the kitchen the display
itself has a full HD resolution and
you'll find touch sensitive navigation
buttons below around the back is a 13
megapixel camera with a bright eff 2.0
aperture along with optical image
stabilization which should help you get
a steady blur free photo in low-light
conditions sort of powered by an
octa-core processor and it's running the
latest Android marshmallow software with
HTC Sense interface slapped over the top
Sense looks neat and it allows you to
customize the look using the themes tool
there's no word on pricing for the x9
yet but as a decent mid-range handset
I'm expecting it to be quite affordable
we'll find out more in the coming weeks
ahead of its late February global
release in the meantime keep your eyes
fixed on CNET calm
