i'm nikki Haley from cnet com and i'm here in taipei for computex 2015 we're on the 36th floor of the taipei 101 building here at the gigabyte showroom where we're getting a look at the brand new a horas gaming laptop the x5 gigabyte are calling it the most powerful 15-inch laptop on earth and it probably stacks up to that pretty bold claim weighing in at 5.51 pounds or about two and a half kilos it's not the thinnest laptop on the market but it does pack in a gtx 960 five nvidia graphics card you're also looking at three different SSDs in a raid configuration they've even baked in a special hardware enhancement to help with broadcasting your game for all the twitch people out there it's got Nvidia's g-sync technology baked into it and that's all happening across a 3k IPS screen which looks pretty incredible the x5 sits in between the 17.4 inch x 7 and the 13-inch x3 the x7 of course gotta refresh at Taipei as well the x5 starts pricing at two thousand two hundred and ninety nine dollars and goes up depending on what configurations you want to pack in it's already won a couple of design awards here at computex 2015 and it looks set to be a bit of a winner for the ORS brand i'm nikki lee here for cnet.com
