we first caught glimpse of this blank security camera by startup in media on Kickstarter back in July of 2014 back then it promised a lot of cool things it costs just 79 bucks for this camera plus the required sync module that goes with it it also is battery powered and it has free cloud storage back then that was kind of a revolutionary lineup of features but now about a year and a half later is kind of falling behind the curve there are a ton of other cameras out there today that are budget-friendly that offer free cloud storage and have a lot more features than this model the one thing that sets Linc apart is that it combines battery powered plus free cloud storage plus budget-friendly but when you take all of the other things into consideration it really really falls short in comparison to today's competition take the net gear rlo this is a 720p battery-powered indoor outdoor camera with a ton of features this one is indoor only and it doesn't actually do all that much you can't do in-app rules it doesn't work with if you can't record on demand and it doesn't have to wait so these are all things that immediacy Zitz adding to this camera in the future but today it just really isn't worth it
