those curves on the latest galaxy got
you looking at your old iPhone like
break things off drama-free and take all
your stuff along with you before you
even start you'll need to sign up for a
Google account if you don't have one and
make sure your iPhone is backed up
Samsung makes the transfer process easy
with their own Smart Switch app go to
the Google Play Store search for the
Smart Switch mobile app and hit update
open the app and you can choose to use
the USB cable option or wireless option
for the first one you'll need a
lightning cable in this USB adapter that
comes with most new Galaxy phones plug
the two phones in and they will connect
next you should see a pop-up message
appear on your iOS device tap trusts on
the iPhone and the next on the galaxy
now wait a few minutes while it searches
once it's done you'll see a list of
available contact categories to transfer
everything from contacts to text
messages select all the categories you
want to move over to your Galaxy device
and then tap transfer now take a coffee
break this could take anywhere from a
few minutes to an hour depending on how
much baggage you plan on bringing along
with you once it's completed you'll have
a few more download options there's a
list of all year old iOS apps with links
to reinstall the Android versions
manually and then it's business as usual
for all your old data you can find
everything you transferred and enjoy it
on a sexier screen if you don't have
this magical little dongle you can
always use the wireless option as long
as you have your iPhone backed up to
iCloud you'll need to sign in to your
iCloud account on your Galaxy phone but
the rest should be similar to what we
just did and once you've fully moved on
you can bid one final farewell to your
old iPhone
