for anyone who hates putting on snow
boots or a coat every time you have to
plug in your holiday lights the iDevices
outdoor switch has an answer for you the
design appeals to my artistic side but
also my inner functionalist it's got a
waterproof shell and a dual outlet but
it's also got a cool nightlight like
it's indoor counterpart you can activate
your outdoor switch using your iDevices
app on your iPhone or iPad but also
using Siri despite the apps organization
and the Siri integration though some of
the home kit features like user sharing
and iCloud functionality are lacking or
just completely absent
although home kit plans to let you reach
your device when you're not on your home
Wi-Fi network in the future you can't do
that now which is a major drawback for a
device like this I like that the outdoor
switch is filling a niche that not many
other smart switches have filled in the
past but I don't know if the $79 price
point is worth it I'd recommend this to
anyone building a fully integrated home
kit home or to some serious holiday
light aficionados for more read the full
