hello everybody it's lynn MA here at
cnet bringing you guys the unlocked LG
optimus l7 the device has a 4.3 inch
nova display with a 800 x 480 pixel
resolution it's powered by one point oh
giggles processor and runs on a 1700
milliampere hour battery the l7 is also
a mid-level Android Ice Cream Sandwich
device and is NFC enabled with the NFC
chip you can use these included LG tag
plus stickers to activate certain
settings on your phone that you could
customize so say every time you go to
sleep you want to put your phone on
vibrate dim your screen and have your
music turn off after 10 minutes of
playing save these settings using the LG
tag plus app tap the sticker to save it
and now every time you want to activate
these settings when you're near your bed
just tap the sleep mode sticker again
you could customize other settings for
your car or office in addition to tag
plus features the NFC chip can also
transfer info like websites and contacts
with Android Beam the handset also
sports LG's new interface called Optimus
three point 0 while isn't as elegantly
simple as the Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich
skin there are a few things worth
mentioning like the fact that you could
launch apps through the lock screen on
the back there's a 5-megapixel camera
and a 1.3 megapixel camera in the front
though I like the fact that the
mid-range phone features the latest
Android OS and sports a decent display
the one point will give you his
processor can be noticeably slow making
the screen seem unresponsive and apps
laggy although the l7 is available in
countries including India and the UK
there's no word yet on a u.s. launched
officially devices priced around five
hundred and fourteen dollars but at
online retailers like Amazon the device
costs about 290 again I'm Lynn for cnet
bringing you guys the unlock lg optimus
