we've reviewed a lot of LG's
door-in-door refrigerators that have
this sort of secret compartment where
you can access the indoor shelves but
none of them have had a Bluetooth
speaker until this one it's the LG
lfx25991st 24.6 elf it's a nice interior
with nice sturdy construction and
shelves that slide in and out and they
move around easily the drawers glide
really smoothly it all just feels nice
the one exception is that door in door
compartment if you take a look at it
you've got this plastic barrier that you
have to open every time you want to get
in from the inside
that's clunky and kind of poor execution
in my opinion also it's the one part of
the fridge that feels really flimsy
another problem with that door indoor
compartment it runs a little hot take a
look at this heat map you can see that
the orange hot spots there in the door
and door compartment rise up above 40
and then look at the three crisper bins
inside the fridge they get warmer the
closer you are to that door door
compartment on the right that's pretty
clear evidence that that door in door
compartment compromises performance now
all that said this is a pretty nice
refrigerator that has very good
performance the inner body of the fridge
was extremely accurate very consistent
in all of our tests and I think that it
has a lot to offer just be prepared to
break out the checkbook as it costs four
thousand dollars it's quite an expensive
fridge but it is a pretty nice one that
you got the money to splurge
