this $1,199 Whirlpool washing machine is
kind of a middle child it's not a
high-end model and it is an entry-level
either so it's often overlooked but I
actually really really like this washer
so it doesn't have a lot of the bells
and whistles of more premium options you
won't find a related app or any serious
specialty cycles but what you do get is
10 cleaning cycles and a steam function
and everything works really well it's
intuitive it's simple to use I like the
touchpad the controls are easy it has a
4.3 cubic foot capacity which is a good
size for a model at this price the one
thing I don't really like is the tones
that the buttons make they're this
really loud sort of annoying musical
tone but you can turn that off easily so
I'm willing to let that slide if you're
not totally sold on this front-load
Whirlpool washer I definitely take a
look at the Electrolux model I just
reviewed it does do slightly better in
terms of stain removal but it is tougher
on clothes so overall this is a really
nice washer it performs well it's easy
to use and it has just enough features
to be a reasonable upgrade without
breaking the bank
