when you're spending top dollar on a brand new dryer you probably expect some smart high-tech connected capabilities that come with it unfortunately the case of the new Electrolux 600 series dryer that's not the case what you do get is a very large 8 cubic foot capacity that can handle tons of clothes you can also handle lots of different types of fabric with different specific dryer cycle settings that you can select just by turning this fancy wheel here so for 1099 which is pretty expensive for a machine like this you definitely don't get a lot of really slick features like ability to connect to your smartphone like some of LG and GE products do the interface is also a little confusing it's hard to tell what options are available to you depending on what's on the display and you can't even turn the light on and off without having to open the door so basically this dryer will make perfect sense if you have tons of clothes to get through because it has a huge capacity but if you want smarts and a way to connect this machine to your smartphone this is not the product for you
