have you been waiting for a 4k laptop well I've got one right here I'm Dan Ackerman as this is the Toshiba Satellite p55 T this 15.6 inch screen as gonna be the first laptop shipping with a 4k screen and that is 3840 by 2160 there's been a couple of other ones announced but this is the first one that's gonna hit the market at the end of April 2014 now this is also a Technicolor certified screen and they actually have some software here that lets you set up different screen profiles with different color temperatures in case you're a video editor or a photo editor and you really want to get down to the nitty gritty of your photo and video work and of course it's a touch screen it's still very early days for 4k there are a standalone displays but there are no other laptop shipping yeah they've been one or two other ones announced what I'd like about this Toshiba version is that it starts at $14.99 which is so premium price for a Windows laptop but that seems pretty reasonable to me when you get pretty high end you know Intel Core i7 style specs and you get this 4k screen with the extra technical or certification and software I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the Toshiba Satellite t-55 team
