here is how to turn on location tracking
for Windows and Mac devices remember the
keys to turn this feature on now before
your laptop goes missing for Windows 10
click start settings and find update and
security then go to find my device and
make sure the feature is activated
connect with your Microsoft account if
prompted to locate the misplace computer
you'll need to log into that same
Microsoft account on another computer
for tracking at the moment you can't
wipe or lock the laptop remotely for Mac
go to System Preferences and click on
iCloud then scroll down the list and
turn find my Mac on now if you lose the
computer you can remotely track lock or
erase it by signing in to iCloud on
another device all through the Find My
iPhone app on iOS if you suspect your
computer was stolen
don't try and retrieve it yourself but
give location information to law
enforcement authorities in San Francisco
