hello gadget fans I'm Lee Westlake the senior here at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona we're taking a look at the V box TV gateway it's some very interesting TV technology so this is the TV gateway box itself now if you look around the back you see it's got loads of inputs and what it does is it takes terrestrial cable satellite free-to-air TV channels basically everything that comes in it takes that and then it processes it sends it to the router in your house and it makes all that TV accessible from any device that's connected to your Wi-Fi it means you could be watching cable or satellite TV on your laptop in a browser there's also smartphone and tablet apps for iOS and for Android and there's a connected TV app as well as if that wasn't enough it records as well inside here there is a 500 gigabyte hard drive it's on sale now in the UK Germany France and Spain it costs 149 euros VBox told me that it's going to be coming out in the u.s. in the second half of the year would you put this thing in your house let me know this is the V box TV gateway I'm Luc Westray the C net at mobile or Congress check out senior comm for loads more from this show
