Verizon to offer unlimited and rollover data? (CNET Update)
2016-06-30
unlimited and rollover data coming to
Verizon the consumers found an image on
a verizon test site that shows off a new
verizon plan it would include a safety
mode instead of getting hit by an over
tree when you hit a data cap safety mode
will allow you to stay connected at a
slower speed this throttle mode is
included with certain Verizon plans
namely the Excel or XXL plans if your
plan is smaller than Excel the safety
mode would cost five dollars per month
and extra gig at LTE speeds normally
cost about $15 arguably that be similar
to the unlimited plans offered by
t-mobile and Sprint Verizon's new plan
would also include what Verizon calls
carryover data any unused data would
roll over to the next month rollover
data would apply to any of Verizon
normal plans fun fact
AT&T owns the rights to the term
rollover data in this sense unlimited
calling from the u.s. to Mexico and
Canada would be included in Excel and
XXL plans that same feature would cost
an extra fee for others none of that
information has been made official by
Verizon yet the Verizon subreddit says a
huge promo will launch on July 1st
however a Verizon spokesperson told C
net we're going to have some fireworks
next week stay tuned if and when any of
that gets official we'll have it right
