and today we're going to check out the
Kyocera dura XV for Verizon Wireless the
dura XV is a durable and waterproof
feature phone that can survive up to six
feet under water for 30 minutes just
make sure all its ports are rightly
sealed before taking it out for a dip
its rugged design also protects against
shocks and drops and extreme
temperatures the device features two
screens one external black-and-white
display that's about an inch across that
has a time and date and battery
indicator the other measures 2.4 inches
and has a 240 by 320 pixel resolution
below that is a large tactile
alphanumeric keyboard with shortcut
buttons to the camera and audio speaker
and a large speaker grille the handset
has a 5 megapixel camera that can record
video to store your photos and media
there's 512 Meg's of internal memory
plus the option to expand up to 32 gigs
via a microSD card slot they also throw
in a four gig micro SD card to get you
started this is all powered by a
removable one point 5 ampere hour
battery that has an estimated talktime
of seven point seven hours and a standby
time of about 18 days if you're
interested the phone has a full retail
price of a hundred and fifty dollars
with a carrier contract and $200 without
