you never hear its showstoppers at the ephah trade show in Berlin looking at window mate this little guy behind me is like a robot vacuum that you stick on your window and then it Scrolls up and down and side to side getting the thing clean it stays in place with magnets so you have to be on either side of the window to get it set up so you either have to send somebody around to the other side if you're on the first floor or make sure your windows open so you can reach around the bottom yourself so it might be slightly inconvenient in certain situations if your window doesn't open but it's aimed more at coffee shops and small stores that have larger windows it has a 90 minute runtime after taking a couple of hours to get a charge this is the second version of window main the first one just launched in Japan this one's coming to Japan and Europe and hopefully the US before too long it'll cost 500 euros around here which converts to roughly 600 u.s. dollars so window mate might save the lives of a few window washers I'm not sure how much hassle it's gonna save you but I'm still looking forward to testing it because I mean it's just so cute
