Waterproofing and Android Marshmallow in Sony's Xperia X Performance
Waterproofing and Android Marshmallow in Sony's Xperia X Performance
2016-02-23
sony has launched three new experience
Mart phones at this year's Mobile World
Congress the Xperia X the X a and the X
performance and it's that one but I'm
taking a look at here now as the
performance name suggests this is the
most powerful of all three phones inside
his packing Qualcomm's latest snapdragon
820 processor that is an octa-core chip
so should be extremely powerful backed
up by three gigabytes of RAM and of
course it's running the latest Android
marshmallow software now has got a
5-inch screen with a 1080p resolution so
not quite as crisp as Sony's flagship
Xperia z5 and while the X in the X a
don't have the waterproofing that we've
come to expect from Tony's Xperia phones
the X performance does that means that
you can really drop it in Vitoria let's
all spill your beer on it knowing that
this phone will not come off any worse
on the back of the phone is a 23
megapixel camera and it's here as well
that we'll see some pretty familiar sony
branding this very minimalist back where
it's got a nice brushed metal effect
sony has confirmed of this phone will be
released in Asia and us in the coming
months although wider availability
across Europe in the UK isn't yet known
but do make sure to keep the CNET for
all the latest news
