LG's 1999 dollar styler is essentially a
steam closet it has sanitize mode a
deodorize mode and a dee wrinkle mode
that you can install at home with a
simple plug it also comes with an
android-only app that you can use to
download additional cleaning cycles
troubleshoot and more the problem is
that this giant premium device really
doesn't work all that well it's the type
of product that's designed to be used
between dry cleaning runs so if you
don't have something that's super
stained but you want to give it a quick
refresh the styler is supposed to do
that but I ran a ton of cycles with this
thing every time hoping that it would
return some dry clean esque result and
was disappointed every single time I was
also kind of disappointed by the Android
app it's pretty easy to set up and get
running but it doesn't actually add much
value you can't check on the status of a
cycle when it's mid run and you can't
actually initiate a cycle remotely you
actually have to be standing right next
to the device and use the NFC tag on
feature so if you're already standing
here why wouldn't you just use the
intuitive display so while the styler
does offer some marginal benefit I'd say
it's roughly comparable to just tossing
your clothes in the dryer or ironing
them yourself it really isn't worth it
