Wet hands are no problem with the Kyocera Hydro View
2016-01-06
this is the hydro view the latest in a
long line of water resistant smartphone
Kyocera it's got all of the expected
budget smartphone fixings it runs
Android lollipop and has eight gigs of
storage but can support up to 64 gigs if
you pop in a microSD card there's a
5-inch screen but it has a really low
resolution 960 X 540 pixels but you're
getting that for just 80 bucks when the
phone launches on January 8th on Cricket
Wireless we're here for the ruggedness
the hydro view is certified for ip57
that means it can sit and up to a meter
of water about 3 feet for up to 30
minutes and you can even use the screen
when it's wet we've seen this wet
touchscreen operation on a few Kyocera
phones and it works fairly well so you
aren't exactly gonna be able to take
this phone swimming but if you ski or
fish or just hang out in the rain a lot
for some reason the Hydra view will keep
up with you for cheap I have to see you
have to find out more info on the Hydra
view and be sure to check back for all
of our CES coverage
