iPhone owners will soon be able to stop
their phones from slowing down in an
interview with ABC News Apple CEO Tim
Cook confirmed that a software update to
iOS will alert users when performance is
being reduced to compensate for a bad
battery and owners can choose to turn
off that feature if they don't want it
as an effort to be more transparent to
customers the next iOS update is also
going to include a menu that shows
