soon you'll be able to livestream from
the YouTube app YouTube announced he
will bring live streaming right to its
mobile app this isn't like Twitter we
need a second air you have to handle the
streaming they'll all be baked into one
single app YouTube released a few
screenshots of what live streaming on
the YouTube app will look like you can
choose to make the stream public or not
if you want to stream without chat you
can do that there's also the option to
notify your subscribers when your life
the interface is visually similar to
periscope with a full-screen video of
whatever your streaming comment appears
bubbles as new comments come in older
comments fade away the company touts
YouTube's peerless infrastructure it
says it'll be faster and more reliable
than anything out there that sounds like
a shot at Facebook and periscope YouTube
began offering live streaming in 2011 so
it has years more experience than those
other guys live streaming from the
YouTube app we'll start with a select
few partners like The Young Turks AIB
and Alex wasabi at VidCon if you're
unfamiliar with VidCon its tagline is it
is for people who love online video it
caters to content creators viewers and
industry reps so when can everybody
livestream from the YouTube app the
company says a wide rollout will happen
soon not to be outdone by YouTube
Facebook and now some new features for
Facebook live videos if you're streaming
you'll be able to bring in other people
to your live stream kind of like a Skype
call Facebook will also add waiting
rooms where people can wait for a video
to start live videos will soon gain the
ability to be scheduled and when you go
alive you'll have a new option video
filters like snapchat so if you've ever
wanted to broadcast as a panda your
dreams are coming true
