get ready to see a lot more live video
on your YouTube page the video giant has
finally rolled out the new mobile live
feature that it first teased in June of
2016 live video is not new to youtube
but until now you needed a webcam and an
internet connection or specific Android
device like the note 5 now all you need
is a phone and a YouTube channel well
and 10,000 of your closest friends to
follow you because initially it's only
rolling out two channels with 10,000 or
more subscribers which means us lesser
mortals will have to wait to broadcast
fluffy the cat chasing a laser to say
YouTube is playing catch-up with this
move would be flattery services like
Facebook live Instagram periscope and
meerkat before them have been around for
over two years now but considering
YouTube is the king of video it may not
take too long for the service to get up
to speed going live on YouTube from your
phone will consist of just pressing a
button on the app much like what we've
already seen on all the other platforms
same privacy options as a regular
YouTube video to set as public or view
with a link and if it's public it may
appear on your recommendations list or
playlists or you can just search for it
like Facebook YouTube live will allow
you to write to the person broadcasting
or use the super chat feature to pin
your message to the top so it doesn't
get lost in the sea of other comments if
you're willing to pay so the YouTube
trolls will now have the option to put
their money where their mouth
