your cnet update YouTube is hoping to
reduce its troll population by offering
a way for users to go by their real
names while in your YouTube account head
on over to settings click advanced and
you'll be able to start using your
google+ account as your YouTube identity
before you make the change you can
review your past activity and delete any
comments you rather not associate with
your real name and those of you that
enjoy the past time of writing cruel
commentary and cursing like a sailor can
continue to hide behind your existing
handles and if you do switch over you
can always switch it back if you change
your mind video game publisher
Electronic Arts has had a monopoly over
pigskin holding the exclusive rights to
create games with the teams of the NFL
and the NCAA but those days may be
numbered back in two thousand eight EA
was sued for making these deals with all
the big leagues and it was argued that
this violated antitrust and consumer
protection laws and that it lit yay
overcharged for games like madden well
four years later those lawyers say EA
has agreed to a settlement which
includes giving up the exclusive rights
to NCAA games for at least five years
and this settlement still needs to be
approved by the court but if it's passed
it also means anyone who bought an e a
football game could get a refund of
about two dollars to seven dollars a
game and that's even for old GameCube
games in other news if you bought a new
mac computer on or after June eleventh
you can get a free upgrade to the
mountain lion operating system which is
expected to be released this week for
everyone else it'll come as a
twenty-dollar download from the mac app
store facebook will be announcing its
first earnings report as a public
company on thursday afternoon analysts
will be hanging on to every word about
its plans for mobile and how it can make
