alpha-2 from you VTech valpha -
originally launched as an IndieGoGo
campaign in November
these robots which are currently in red
and blue colors but will be coming in
more colors soon are about a foot and a
half tall so they're pretty small but
they can do a lot of things there are
two different ways you can interact with
the alpha-2 you can speak to it or you
can also manually control it with an app
for Android or iOS they can also control
smart home appliances like your lighting
system and even set alarms for you
the alpha-2 can recognize your face and
take photos and when 20 moving joints it
can even practice yoga with you right
now battery life is on the short side it
should run an hour
letme each plug but you can use it while
it is plugged into the wall ooby Tech's
second robot is called the G mu which
means building blocks in Chinese it's an
educational toy that is especially
developed for kids to teach them spatial
perception so there are two different
kids who can get one for ages 8 and up
and one for ages 14 and up you build it
yourself
and there are color coded parts to help
you put it together just like the other
robot this one you can operate with iOS
or Android on an app the basic hit will
cost $100 and the more advanced hit will
cost about 200 it'll show up sometime in
late January or February
