You're wearing it wrong! How to adjust Google's Daydream headset
2016-11-11
you just bought a Google daydream view
VR headset you might be wondering why
the heck doesn't it fit well you might
be adjusting it wrong you might tug
instinctually at the straps like a ski
mask try and get it tight that's not
going to work even if you managed to get
it nice and tight around the back of
your head it's gonna press into your
cheeks and forehead quite a bit how long
do you think you could keep doing this
like 5-10 minutes
I think after 20 minutes or so you might
get a headache instead what you want to
do is wear it a bit more like a cramp
you'll take it off tighten up the straps
and back by pulling on plastic clips to
the sides and position the back of the
strap near the top of your head more
like a crown that way the curvature of
the straps rests on top of your head and
creates a pivot point between the very
back up here and the top of the head set
up here making it act more like a lid
that way the bottom part rests on your
cheeks instead of pushing in on them
like a tight schedule mask that's a
little better yeah it definitely feels
more comfortable now
