for a novel I mean I know one of the ways I pick a novel to read is you know I read the first page of the novel ins is this a narrator I want to spend time with right and so it's important to be able to do things like that um if you come on down a little further we've got after the featured books here we have all of the sort of titles in the news these are like these are all the books here that are featured in the New York Times Book Review this week all the books that have been featured on NPR as of December 27th and so on I mean all these are updated continuously so that they're up to date um if you go in here and look at the New York ace book review books for example you see all of these books are discounted by 30% and one of the things that we always thought you know the the bestsellers are always discounted 30% but the best books are rarely discounted 30% so we just write less in addition to discounting than the bestsellers let's also discount the best book so we discount every book every week that's reviewed in the New York Times by 30% they're really the same they're rarely the saves they're not the correlation may not be negative but it's it's but it's zero anyway and you know they're they're little things here like we have customers review books and then we select a winner every month from the reviews that get submitted of books and these are some of the books that are there the bestsellers this week the Playmate book five decades of centerfolds there you go I wonder why that's a best-seller here you can search the catalog and you can type in an author's name you can type in you know one word from the title or two words from the title of the after you know it you can type in subject category words you
