this is the ZTE axon 7 mini but spoiler alert it's smaller and cheaper than spring ZTE axon 7 but the mini here isn't actually that mini I mean it's still got a 5.2 inch screen for crying out loud here's what's the same a metal body with a non removable battery a fingerprint sensor on the back which is now easier for small hands to reach a pair of speakers with Dolby sound an 8 megapixel front-facing camera a dual card slot that you can either use for a second sim or for expandable storage and Android marshmallow to start with an update to Android 7.0 nougat coming down the line now here's what's different there's the 16 megapixel camera instead of a 20 megapixel shooter on the regular ZTE axon 7 a step down processor and smaller battery half the internal storage slower charging and all that is to drop the price to the budget range while offering more than most phones in the same category this is the first time we've seen the phone so we're just not sure yet how it stacks up and real life tests against all those other phones but we do know that it will sell first in Europe and China before arriving in the US this October
