hey this is Daniel tournament from cnet
news at CES in Las Vegas and I'm here
with the Zep multi-sport sensor and you
might think that major league baseball
teams know everything there is to know
about hitting but it turns out there's a
whole lot they don't know about things
like bat speed and angle of swing and so
forth and that's what this sensor is
designed to do it's used for baseball
for tennis and for golf so one of the
things that this can do is it can show
you how fast you're swinging of course
you have to hit the ball for it to
measure it and what it happens is you
see the results in a 3d visualization on
a mobile app major league baseball teams
are looking into using it including the
San Francisco Giants started off as a
the golf as a technology for measuring
golf swings and now the company has
moved to Silicon Valley and has expanded
out to baseball and tennis so the sensor
is available in a kit for 150 dollars
and there's an additional amount for
each of the three sports those are ten
dollars each and you get it now at Apple
stores in SF calm this is Daniel
