Apple announced their earnings results
for the third fiscal quarter of 2017
which is the second quarter of the
calendar year Apple posted revenue of
forty five point four billion dollars
and a net quarterly profit of eight
point seven billion the big a sold 41
million iPhones in the quarter just a
tad bit higher than the forty point four
million from the same quarter last year
Mac sales rose to four point two nine
compared to four point two five a year
ago and the iPad has finally turned
things around after thirteen straight
quarters of declining sales iPads jumped
up to eleven point four two million
units sold compared to nine point nine
five a year ago now you can thank the
new iPad pro and the low-cost iPad from
earlier this year for ending the curse
Apple watch sales jumped up fifty
percent and is the number one selling
SmartWatch in the world but they still
won't report units sold Apple services
business which includes the App Store
Apple pay Apple music iCloud storage and
more hit an all-time high of seven point
three billion dollars in revenue making
it the size of a fortune 100 company and
if you want to know how much cash Apple
is sitting on now they told us two
hundred sixty one point five billion
dollars of cash this is before the next
iPhone announcement and right now Apple
has all the mo going into September
