hey what's up tube Willington here and welcome to another sound battle well let speakers speak for themselves in the battlefield the makers of the DOS sound box Excel when nice enough to send me one for review so we will be putting it up against the JBL charge 3 and see how it stucks up in the battlefield I'll be using a high quality binaural microphone so for the best experience please use headphones with that said let's hear the speakers speak I will need your help I think it's time every day so we're gonna get friendly with them this way is when okay so the speakers are about equally loud during the last two songs well while we were playing at 100% volume I had a DB meter about five feet away from the speakers and I got a max DB you read for the sound box at 96 and 97 for the charge three but honestly if you're just listening with ears the difference is almost unnoticeable you probably wouldn't tell which one is louder and this changes also depending on the kind of music you listen to because the highs on the chart we are a little bit sharp than what you find on the sound box which also kind of messes with the perception of loudness so keep that in mind the sound box is performing a little bit better than the chart through you when it comes to best performance the myths are okay on both speakers but the highs on the sound box are a little bit softer than those of the charge three which are a little bit more piercing than what you find on the sound box and this is most especially at maximum volume although not by much I think the overall sound of the sound box is a little bit better than that of the chart week and I know it's bigger than the chart we but it's also way cheaper than the chart three so if you're looking for which one sounds better of the two the sound box is in the lead but you also have to know that it's not waterproof like the charge three and it also cannot be connected with another sound box for a bigger sound or a stereo sound experience so if those things don't matter to you and size is not that big of a problem yes it is a great buy if considering its sound and its price so there you have it that's it for me today thank you for watching this video and thanks to those for sending me the excel to make this video possible I'll put a link to it in the description below if you wanna pick one up for yourself other ways thank you for watching if you haven't yet please subscribe and I will see you in the next video
