my name is Tracy Howell and I'm from Overland Park Kansas my son Britain is six years old and has autism so I'm Eileen I'm Charlie's mom Charlie's a little boy with three years old he's severely autistic what's great about lekha is that my son immediately connected with this robot this this ball that was running around and coming back to him and responding to his call when I saw Charlie playing hide-and-seek with it I mean that's something that a neurotypical kid we just kind of do anyway but Charlie doesn't usually do that I've noticed my son had a very rough day at school today he had some some really challenging times but came home and took 30 minutes to spend with Lake and is a much more calm and relaxed child I didn't get shown hey there's your proof it's a pretty remarkable tool for therapists to connect with these kids keep them engaged which is the second very difficult thing to do and use it to connect and teach them we really think that we have something that will truly make an impact on the whole community working with exceptional children and that's the data that they get collects and passes back to our monitoring platform identifying what's the next step in therapy or what is something that maybe the child is mastered it would be remarkable to be able to share that data and also be able to share that with educators now we're actually getting into the field of technology and how it can work with individuals with autism how it can empower therapists to work with those individuals and ultimately I believe will help us from a research perspective software one project that I'm working on is mounting this RP lidar unit from Robo peak on the ghost row giving it the ability to sense its surroundings with the data from the lidar the ghost will be able to detect obstacles like trees and buildings and adjust its flight path is necessary I'm also really looking forward to developing the ghost SDK which includes libraries for both Java and c-sharp I also see some awesome integration possibilities with input devices like leap motion Myo and my own device attacked one of my passions is to travel and taking photos of the world around me I always what I like about ghost it's so easy to fly the control is really simple and I can do it all on my phone I don't have to worry anymore about the control and I can just focus on what I see the ghost
