NZXT H440 Case w/ PSU Shroud - Hands-On & Cable Management | CES 2014
2014-01-14
hey everyone this is steve from gamers
nexus dotnet and we are looking at NZXT
ease new h 440 case today this case has
a psu shroud which is probably one of
the more interesting features we do have
an LED for NZXT T's logo and that is
showcased through this huge side window
on the side panel the H 440 you might be
familiar with the branding from the h 6
30 which which you know link to the
review below and these 630 is sort of a
large soundproofed case don't case
almost so this has some of the similar
sound absorption stuff going on we've
got some foam on all of the paneling
obviously no foam where the window is
but it is it is some decent thickness
film there to absorb some of your fan
noise and and then in terms of these
other panels we've got some back here
some up in the front and it might look
like the the cable management depth is a
little shallow here but that is because
as you will see in the b-roll the psu
shroud here is hiding all the cabling so
you can actually just route almost
everything through there and one of the
cool cale management features is
actually this a GPU cut out so we've got
to cut out right here where the cable
can come up and go straight into your
GPU you don't have any sneaking going on
behind the board or or through these
other cutouts in the case in terms of
the chassis and the frame it is pretty
familiar to what we've seen with other
NZXT cases it's got kind of this bezel
going on over here and then a cooling
wise there is well first of all you can
support two three sixty millimeter
radiators one of the top one in the
front and stock it ships with three
front fans 120 and one rear fan 140 and
interestingly you might have noticed a
lack of ugly drive scaffolding first of
all that partly goes with the shroud
right it's it's making it a little bit
more appealing to look at and inside we
do not have any five and a quarter beso
in on the front it's just just a sleek
front discrete panel and that means no
optical support but most OS installs are
on flash drives now anyway in terms of
drive bays and here where the opticals
would normally be we've got a total of
four 3.5
slots and then we have to SSD slots down
here right above the power supply and
all that can be routed very very easily
through these cutouts in the case and if
you take the front of the case off there
is a magnetic filter for your your dust
filtration and I can easily be run under
water and clean that out that pretty
much covers the h4 40 so it will be
available within a couple of weeks it is
already available for pre-order hit all
the links in the description below as
always I will try to get you a review
with thermal data and we will see you
all next time peace
