all right so here we are a change in the
back brakes an Ultima bill Alero we
already have the tire off and the brake
pads out my buddy's going to go grab the
pads right now so I'm going to explain
how to do it once the tire is off pretty
self-explanatory is take off all those
nuts
um the brake pads sit right in here on
the inside of the caliper it's pretty
simply just take off these back two
bolts I believe was a fifths a fifteen
millimeter and that's the only thing you
have to take off then the pad itself
just pops off on this end and this end
on the other side you just make sure
that when you take off the caliper it's
supported you don't want to just let it
hang there on that land that's up here
on your brake lines so once we have the
new pads we just pop them back in place
fit the caliper on top you prone you to
compress that piston right there you
need to get a big C clamp or just a
massive pair of pliers and just kind of
just pinch it tight and that's that's
how you fit because the new pads are
going to be thicker than the old pads
once that's done you just put the tire
back on you're good to go you can just
kind of see right here how the brake
pads are wearing the wrong way it should
wear evenly so it shines up the whole
rotor instead of just the two parts
right here so those brake pads are bad
so that's how you do it
