Galaxy S3 take apart and assembly, how to fix a cracked screen

2012-07-23
This is the Samsung GS3 and we have a series of screws around the phone. Now we’re going to take and remove the back housing. It’s right here by the volume. Careful not to go too deep into the phone. Oh, another one….Much easier. It’ll come off. Notice several water indicators. Another screw here to remove the main board. Another cable there. Cable there. Another series over here. And then from near the headset jack you can take and remove our speaker. There’s not a lot back here to hurt. I’ll pop off. There’s your rear speaker. Front facing camera here. Earpiece is here. Cable assembly comes down, comes back around and actually attaches here. Also it comes around and connects the buttons. Then the main board can come out. Rear facing camera attaches here. There are two mics. Then to replace the speaker there’s going to be adhesive here so be careful not to tear the cable. Another water indicator there. Then putting it back. Reset the cables. There’s the antenna.
