so we have a 2003 sv650 I'm going to show you how to tighten up the chain right now on the chain that is super loose we're gonna do is we're gonna undo these two bolts take out the cotter pin that's inside of that this will to the 24 millimeter the one on this side is a 22 millimeter I mean you gotta twist them both at the same time loosen them up and then pull the tire back as far as you can go you're doing this want to make sure that this point right here is lined up with the same grooves on either side I'm gonna go ahead and tighten this up so I feel like a chain is about where I want it that's pretty good you wanted to have a little bit of play in it but still be pretty tight not as not as hanging loose as it as it was last time a little bit more alright so I'm about three and a half marks in I'm just gonna make sure the other side is the same way then just tighten these two bolts down again this one and one on the other side put the cotter pin in making sure that it's it doesn't rotate any more while you're driving you're good to go
