all right today I'm going to teach you how to replace the SIM card slot and the SD card reader on your galaxy note 2 this is what the little piece looks like I'm going to list all of the parts that you'll need in the video description below this guy is pretty cheap let's go ahead and check that out if you need to buy one for yourself there are 11 screws around the back of the phone that you'll need to take off these are just small little Phillips head screws and you can take your pry tool and slide it between the glass screen and the plastic back you'll hear all of the clasps this unsnap as you move around the edges and then once those are undone there is also a little clasp at the top of the battery case and at the bottom of the battery case you can just lift off and then the back will come away from the phone this is a good repair for anyone who's SD card or SIM card is not working anymore or if it won't click into place the the new cards or the new ribbon cable will help fix that anyways is where it goes I'm going to go ahead and unsnap the little cable at the top it's kind of like a little Lego piece just going to unclip it and then I'm going to pull the old part off of the phone it's stuck to it so it's kind of like you know pry in duct tape off of something that's been stuck for a while it's about how hard it's stuck on there I'm going to continue prying it away from the phone be gentle with it just in case you need to reuse it and then here's the new piece when you're peeling off the the backing on it make sure you leave the sticky stuff intact so that you'll be able to connect it to the phone and then when you're putting it on the phone what I've done is I connected it first I clip that little the connector in place just like a little Lego and then I gently set the rest of the ribbon cable down into place aligning it with where it was before anyway if you have any questions make sure to leave in the comments below don't forget to like if this video helped you and don't forget to subscribe doesn't mean a lot thanks for watching
