hello everybody my name is John I'm a recent Max Witcher actually as of today June 6 we have here my brand new 15.4 inch MacBook Pro it's the new santa rosa processor the ones that were just released yesterday it is I got the stock one from the store two gigabytes of 667 megahertz SDRAM hundred 60 gigabyte 5400 rpm Drive 2.4 gigahertz intel core duo - santa rosa processor and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with 256 megabytes of gddr3 SDRAM I use a student discount to buy it even though I've been out of college for about five years now but I still have my card handy so if you go to the store with a student discount here's what you'll get condition 2 your MacBook Pro you'll get a free prayer to actually pray nice the scanner copier the whole deal it's $100 with $100 rebate you will also get $200 towards a ipod I took the a gigabyte iPod Nano let's put an extra 50 bucks so this 8 gigabyte nanos $50 in addition I bought dot Mac to make some websites and do some file storage I picked up a Mighty Mouse parallels Desktop for Mac I decided not to go the bootcamp route until it's official and some Dell speakers from from work alright let's get to the good part but you're all here to see the unboxing of the MacBook Pros first time has ever been open it's my first time ever owning a Mac I am very excited so here I am hello guys here we go we're going to open this up for you this is my first video I posted thumb be doing some others coming up detailing my experiences with the MacBook Pro and I'm happy to answer any questions that you guys might have about it keep in mind this is my first Mac I'll do my best to answer them and the way we don't see it we got in here kind of open her up I've watched system being done a million times it's fun to do it yourself here we've got the MacBook Pro styrofoam this out here side here first hooks we've got the adapter power brick it looks really be a brick the DVI to VGA for your monitor and the hard to get out Apple remote to run Perot and now for the grand finale the 15-inch MacBook Pro very exciting here we go I'm going to open her up here pour the plastic in the back here you have it brand-new 15.4 inch santa rosa macbook pro i'll give you a little walkthrough here if you look on the side you can see your DVI port Gigabit Ethernet firewire 800 firewire 400 one of the unfortunately only two USB ports and the lock on the other side we've got your Express card slot audio in audio out another USB port and your magazine that's it for now I hope you all enjoyed this and like I said before any questions that you guys have I'm happy to try and answer them send them my way and I'll be posting some more videos of a review of the laptop itself as well as a recent switchers experiences so send some comments subscribe if you'd like and I'll talk to you guys soon thank you
