HTC re Grip Hands-On - A Smart Fitness Tracker with GPS
2015-03-01
hey what's up everyone this is Todd
Hazleton from TechnoBuffalo i'm here at
Mobile World Congress checking out the
brand new re grip from HTC and under
armour HTC designed the hardware here
it's a new fitness band that's going to
launch this spring for 199 and the focus
is on really active people so like high
end of the spectrum not just tracking
stuff but everything else so you have
the software preloaded and work with iOS
and Android and it collects your data
and syncing with Under Armour's
application control music check the
weather you'll get smoked smart phone
notifications so for incoming calls and
messages and stuff like that and it's
also water resistant but really just for
in the shower use not really for
swimming or anything like that so you
got a plastic or I'm sorry on the front
here you have the key key OLED display
not PA MLP OLED display should give you
about two and a half hours of better two
and a half days of battery life with
this week grip here except the only
problem is with GPS on it does have GPS
you get only about five hours of battery
life so kind of a limitation there but
you can see the under armour and HTC
branding I just wanted to give you a
quick look this is the early hardware
really software and everything so we
can't go through it too much have a look
forward to spring for about 1 99 but in
the US only for now this is Todd
hesitant from TechnoBuffalo checking out
the HTC regrip
