hey guys John here again thank you for all for subscribing and for all the comments I'm trying to get to all your video requests kind of as soon as I can but please be patient one of the most common questions that I had was the heat on the MacBook Pro specifically how much heat it puts out whether or not you can keep getting a lap whether or not it's gonna burn you burn a hole through your desk I know a lot of you probably reading on the forums of macron MacRumors and all the other sites which are all really good to look at by the way about the heat issues and in my opinion I'm only the computer about a week I think that's a few in the minority that are making the most noise my computer right now is running at 117 degrees Fahrenheit it's been on for a little while it's not terribly hot I downloaded a program called SMC fan control what lets me control the speed of the fans I set that to about 3000 rpms still silent doesn't drain much battery and it keeps a computer relatively cool and that's a minimum speed of 3000 rpms you can set it for whatever you want so if you're going to class you know set it up to speed up the fans a little bit more if you're going to watch your movie on your lap speed it up a little bit and I don't think you're gonna have any issues it's probably a little bit hotter than most laptops but not by much if your use having a regular dell or some other Mac on your lap you'll be fine with this it's really overblown in my opinion especially with the fan control so anyway guys that's it nice and quick thank you for watching and I'll try and get some more videos up for you guys as soon as I can keep the questions coming talk to you guys soon bye
