hey what's up everyone this is Todd
Hazleton from TechnoBuffalo we're here
at Mobile World Congress Microsoft just
announced two phones this morning
including the Lumia 640 in the Lumia 640
XL we're looking at the Lumia 640 here
hands on you can see these super bright
and colorful Microsoft Lumia handsets so
these are currently running Windows
Phone 8.1 but Microsoft told us today
that they're gonna upgrade it to Windows
10 for phones when that launches this
year but we just want to quickly show
you the devices you're looking at a
5-inch display here corner to corner
with a 1280 by 720 pixel resolution
under the hood it's got a 2500 milliamp
hour battery which microsoft says should
give you more than a day of battery life
you also have a 1.2 gigahertz quad-core
Snapdragon 400 processor up front is a 1
megapixel front-facing camera then on
the back you have an 8 megapixel camera
with a single LED flash onboard you have
8 gigs of storage which isn't a ton but
does come with 30 gigs of free onedrive
storage and you can also add in a micro
SD card up to 128 gigabytes so just walk
you through it real quick you can see
it's Windows Phone 8.1 not a ton here
but it is the denim update which we
really like and you have Cortana of
course up top 3.5 millimeter headphone
jack nothing on the left-hand side on
the bottom you just have the 3.5 or I'm
sorry the microUSB port and on the right
side you have the volume controls and
the power button now if you're a Windows
Phone fan you might notice that
something's missing here that's the
camera toggle button and we're not quite
sure why but it looks like that's just
not an option on this phone maybe that
means something with Windows 10 for
phones will replace that in a better way
but I'm not sure quickly I just wanted
to show you the colors to this orange
one is really awesome I really like it
kind of excited to try it myself it's
got this like gummy kind of nice border
on the top and then the bright orange
back and then the blue cover as well
here with that sort of clearish gummy
build and then of course the Microsoft
logo replacing Nokia now officially
alright thanks everybody just wanted to
give you a look at the Lumia 640 from
Microsoft this is Todd Hazleton from
